Tracelet

A child’s personal safety is a major concern for parents or caregivers. Nothing causes more anguish than a loved one who goes missing. Yet thousands of Canadian parents live through that nightmare each year.
However, peace of mind is now available with the Tracelet.

The Tracelet appears as a small jelly-like bracelet, much like the charity bracelets which have become popular over the last few years. These bracelets are not cumbersome and are commonly worn by children and adults alike. The Tracelet, much like the charity bracelet, is the perfect accessory for a child and can alleviate fears of separation and other occurrences for moms and dads.

“It has happened to me and I can’t remember a time in my life that I felt more anxious!”

"I have yet to meet a parent who hasn’t been separated from their child, even for a moment, either in a store, a park, a fair or even in their own back yard,” says Emmanuel Mounouchos, founder and CEO of Avante Security Inc. “It has happened to me and I can’t remember a time in my life that I felt more anxious, almost panicky."

What sets the Tracelet apart from all jelly bracelets is the unique code that appears on the inside. This code is registered on the Avante database with all pertinent information on the Tracelet holder and its caregivers. On the outside of each Tracelet is an emergency toll-free number that will be answered by a licensed crisis management operator.

If someone calls the toll-free number after finding a child wearing a Tracelet, they will be asked for the inside code and verification questions. They will then connect the child’s parent or caregiver to the person on the line. Police can also be informed instantaneously of the whereabouts of the child to initiate necessary action.

What does it do?

Should you ever become separated from the wearer of a Tracelet, in a mall, park or neighbourhood, anyone finding your child can call the telephone number on the outside of the Tracelet and instantly be connected with you through our Crisis Centre managers. They will know who your child is thanks to the unique registration number on the inside of the Tracelet.

What are the Costs?

The Tracelet itself is a soft plastic ‘jelly bracelet’ sized to fit smaller wrists and can be obtained in two versions, two-tone blue or glow-in-the-dark. Each Tracelet is individually packaged with its own unique serial number on the inside and the Toll-Free emergency telephone number and instructions on the outside and is available at $5.00 each.

*The monthly charge of $5.00 per 4 child family will ensure that your child’s information is securely on file and the Control Centre managers are there should the need ever arise.

Where does the money go?

For every Tracelet sold, 50% of the proceeds go to one of the registered charities listed.

Each month an additional $1.00 to $2.00 is further given to that charity.
Lost or Stolen Tracelet?

If a Tracelet is reported lost or stolen, a replacement Tracelet will quickly be sent out. Only a minimal postage and handling charge will apply.
