Manny has 21 years experience in the security industry. He founded AVANTE in 1996 with a vision of developing a company that would apply technology to distinguish itself from its competition. Manny graduated as an electronic technologist in communications from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in 1986.
Manny’s responsibilities include; strategic visioning, oversight of all line and staff functions, approval of all financial obligations, and sourcing of new business opportunities and strategic alliances. In addition Manny also sources, directs and coordinates financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations in order to maximize return on investments, and increase productivity.

Mr. Busch joined Avante as Vice President of Operations in June 2007, having served as a member of the RCMP for over 35 years. He served as a uniformed police officer, an undercover officer and a plain clothes serious crime investigator in a number of provinces and territories across Canada. He assisted in a number of investigations with the RCMP War Crimes Unit, Interpol, the DEA, MI-5, Scotland Yard and the US Secret Service. His extensive technical experience includes covert electronic intelligence and video surveillance systems as well as local and international tracking devices.
Larry served as an RCMP hostage negotiator for many years and through extensive research and interviewing of released hostages he developed a variety of lectures on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, psychological first aid for released hostages and has lectured to members of the Canadian media and to Canadian Forces personnel on Foreign Travel Security and Hostage Survival Techniques. Most recently, he played a significant role in the successful release of Canadian hostages held in Iraq. He is a veteran of three United Nations missions and served as a police consultant at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Busch was in charge of “O” Division’s VIP Security Section. His section was responsible for the complete security of Canada’s senior political executives and visiting Internationally Protected Persons. Larry has been a security officer and body guard for Kings, Queens, US Presidents, the Canadian Prime Minister and the Governor General of Canada. Within his pervue were intelligence units, bomb disposal units and counter surveillance units. His section was also responsible for the security of over 100 Foreign Consulates within the GTA.
Larry has received a variety of specialized operational training in surveillance, counter surveillance, Canadian Forces Aid to the Civil Power, Assassin Profiling, International Terrorism and Counter Terrorist Surveillance as well as Air Marshall training. His administrative experience includes three years as RCMP Media Relations Officer for Ontario, the Manager of “O” Division’s Emergency Operations Centre and the RCMP’s Technical Consultant for a successful CBC police mini-series plus a number of Canadian and International films.
Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto.

Mr. McKetrick, 54, will serve as the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. He has been vice-president of Avante since 2006. Prior to joining Avante, Mr. McKetrick has been involved with a number of public and private companies as Assistant Vice President, Controller or Senior Financial Analyst, including the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, Interactive Media Group, Extend Media, and Creative Business Solutions. Mr. McKetrick earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Toronto.

Wasim Phares a licensed partner in Avante Middle East is responsible for the sales and marketing of the 724 Smart WIP in the Middle East. He has an accounting background and presently works out of Dubai.
